The SOCRATCES project was presented in 9th International Workshop for the efficient use of sustainable energy, which was held in Arequipa on November 19-21. Dr. Ricardo Chacartegui (SOCRATCES Coordinator, University of Seville) addressed in his presentation the main opportunities and challenges of the thermochemical energy storage based on Calcium-Looping, with special emphasis on the SOCRATES project.
The event, which was held at the Arequipa Campus of the Technological University of Peru, aims to generate technology that can solve energy problems in artisanal fishing activities and that improves the quality of life of people, mainly in the areas of America. Latin, lacking resources.
