It is a key moment of the project since the start of the prototype construction in Seville is being faced, the tests that have been carried out on the individual modules have had very satisfactory results and the entire consortium is preparing for the next phase in which we will have the opportunity to launch our system.
The meeting served for CSIC and AUTH to inform the consortium about the latest laboratory work that has been done to continue improving the multicyclic CaO performance. And to review the work done in recent months on the individual modules, for example, both the carbonator and the power engine are ready for final tests at the CERTH and TTZ facilities respectively.
Likewise, some of the details included in the contingency plan drawn up to deal with the current situation of COVID-19 were finished, which, along with other factors, has led to the decision to promote an extension of time in the duration of SOCRATCES.
Special attention was also paid to work in the Environmental Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, and innovation management; which are tasks that will have a lot of information to analyze once the experimental campaign finish.
And finally, the dissemination strategy was reviewed in this phase of the project, in which we want to make a greater effort to disseminate our work and the technology that will be implemented in the SOCRATCES prototype.
